Nigeria defeated in the jollof derby

 The almighty and media-hyped football match came to an end in Favour of the Gold-coast players. 

The first leg which was played on the 25th of March ended in a goalless tie just before the last weekend of March. And with the 2nd leg just concluded, the black stars have secured their place in the 2022 World Cup.

 This came with Thomas partey scoring about 11 minutes into the game and the Nigerian defender- William Troost-Ekong who plays in English side watford scoring a penalty kick few minutes later. 
The second half of the match was played with enough energy but not just enough to score a goal.

Nigeria dominated the second half with 60% possession and managed nine shots but only one managed to bring Joe Wollacott into action. 

Ghana held on for five minutes of added time as they advanced to the World Cup finals for the first time since 2014.
